PRE-OP PREP
Focusing on what you CAN control, rather than obsessing over what you CAN'T control, is the best way to reduce pre-op anxiety. My best advice is to start reading all the jaw surgery blogs, cue up the Youtube videos, open an Amazon cart and start saving products, join several jaw surgery post-op support Facebook groups, and start making those lists!
The more you can mentally and physically prepare for your surgery, the better.
